A long-term goal of District Energy St. Paul founders was to produce energy to meet its customers' energy needs using a highly energy efficient combined heat and power (CHP) facility that simultaneously produces heat and electricity. Ever-Green Energy was formed to develop the state-of-the-art and highly successful biomass-fired CHP facility in Saint Paul that has been recognized around the world and is used as a model for other cities and communities, especially given the escalating cost of energy and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
After the successful startup of the biomass-fired CHP plant, Ever-Green Energy began focusing on developing additional renewable energy projects. The company started expanding its team to serve an ever-increasing number of calls from businesses and communities throughout the United States needing creative, sustainable solutions to meet their energy challenges and reduce their carbon emissions.
We are passionate about the efficient use of energy and our need to decrease our carbon emissions while increasing our energy security. The breadth and depth of our experience, coupled with our ability to create innovative solutions that truly benefit our customers, communities and the environment, distinguishes Ever-Green Energy from others in the energy industry.
